New Mt Arapiles gallery   ·  15 September 2009

Over the last few months my assistant has been doing a lot of work scanning many of the images from my slide collection. It’s a huge ongoing job which will take many months to complete, but as these images are ready I’ll be adding a lot of the new images to my web gallery. So… following on from the new Totem Pole gallery… I’m happy to announce a brand new Mt Arapiles web gallery.

There are 60 images in the gallery, some from a few years ago but some extending back 20 years. The gallery starts with some landscapes and finishes with some of my oldest images (showing my age here I guess but these were before I started professional photography). Some images will be familiar to many, some will be new. Either way — ENJOY!!! Putting this gallery together has got me all hot and bothered and hankering to fondle some of that smooth hard “baby bum” rock at “Le Mount” once again!

Canola transforms a Wimmera paddock yet Mount Arapiles remains an oasis in a mono-cultural desert. Mount Arapiles, Victoria, Australia.

Tony Barron, Agamemnon (10), The Atridae, Mount Arapiles, Victoria, Australia.

Simon Mentz's fall from grace: The Prow (27), Bluff Major, Mount Arapiles, Victoria, Australia.

Sean Myles, Punks in the Gym (32), The Pharos, Mount Arapiles, Victoria, Australia. Cira 1992.
