Hi Everyone

Busy times since last newsletter… In February we completed our “On the Rocks” speaking tour with World Expeditions. All great shows in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle and — finishing with a bang — in Sydney. Thanks so much to everyone who came along and shared the night. Such great vibes! Monique and I had a blast. Hopefully it won’t be the last of these shows. But for now I’m stoked to say that our World Expeditions trip to Sicily in October is “on”. I’m really looking forward to it! If you’d like to join us, there are a few spaces still available, see –> here.

Straight after the tour I launched into a commercial job with brilliant American photographer and videographer Andy Mann. I can’t say much about this until the vidoes are released except hard work was never so much fun! Stay tuned…

And right now? Well we sent the long-haul to Barcelona and I’m having a stint shooting and climbing in the Catalunya area of Spain. Damn, I love this place, it has been a few years and I hadn’t realised how much I’d missed it. Such brilliant routes, so much rock and good vibes at the crag. No wonder Monique is in love with this place. Here it’s easy to think you’re at the center of the sport-climbing universe, because, well, maybe it just is! We were at Oliana on Friday and I spent a few hours up a rope pointing my camera every which way at all the sports action going on around me. With a line-up of some of the worlds best climbers going hard on their projects, you can be sure I was working hard to capture some moments. Enjoy the pics; they are, incidentally, available for order as high quality prints from my website here. (And yes, the web shop is running normally whilst I’m away.)

More soon!
