Andy Kuylaars climbing. This 60m route really is — Once in a Lifetime (26), Mt Wellington, Tasmania.

The whirl-wind of travel and photography continues as I’m working on my Australian climbing book. In the last few weeks I finished off my Tasmania trip at Mt Wellington and since have been shooting in the Blue Mountains, Bungonia Gorge, near Canberra, Nowra and at Point Perpendicular.

Not that any was needed, it has been a great reminder that we have lots of really awesome climbing in Australia and, best of all, there are many super-psyched, positive and generous climbers here. I love my work and feel very honored to get to hang out with such positive and inspirational people. Thanks so much to everyone who has been helping out of late — your support has been fantastic!

I want to produce this book this year and so the next few months will be busy. I’m packing my bags again and am off again tomorrow. Until next time, here is a brief sneak preview of some shots from the last few weeks.

And I’ve just added a gallery to my web site on Les Calanques, which is a beautiful area overlooking the Mediterranean in France. Holiday anyone? See the gallery –> here.
