Evan Stevens is the #earlybird on The Siege of Thermopylae (6c+), sector Spartacus, with Telendos Island in the background.

Great moments in #RockClimbingDownUnder … The one and only Malcolm (HB) Matheson pulling through the 6 meter downward sloping roof that is pitch 2 of Passport to Insanity (27) in the #Grampians.

The Australian sun can be harsh, so we waited until winter (August in fact) for this one. Neil Monteith with Matt Brooks belaying, pitch two The Sublime and the Beautiful (18, 22, 20), Blue Mountains.

I’m happy to see this! A box of the World Climbing Calendar 2015. We thought we had completely sold out, which would normally be good except that I know there are people still trying to find a copy… We just opened a box that the printers has mislabeled and BOOM! We have some (limited) stock again.
This year marked a big departure from the way I’ve produced climbing calendars for the last 20 years. This year three of the world’s best climbing photographers — @ladzinski @lukaszwarzecha and Sam Bie — collaborated with me and contributed to the calendar. The result, well I guess you have to see for yourself!
Order from my website shop.

A very focused Lynn Hill on her actual send of the mega-classic Serpentine (29), Taipan Wall in the #Grampians, back in 2000 when I was shooting on assignment for @thenorthface. Shooting action on 40 ISO film in the shade was always a challenge which I can’t say I really miss, except, hmmm, those colours… #film #velvia #nofilter #tbt #throwback #nikon @nikon_australia @thinktankphoto @lasportivagram @lasportivaaustralia

It boggled my mind a bit last year when I heard that Matt Brooks had discovered and established a 22 meter roof climb nestled amongst suburban Sydney. Whaaaat? How could that have not been discovered before??? So I went and checked it out and sure enough it’s that big and the climbing is great! Who’d have thunk it! Nice work Matt! The climb is called Ghetto Superstar (28) at The Hideaway — and the climber pictured here is Sean Powell. You probably saw it here first, unless of course you’ve already seen it in my new book #RockClimbingDownUnder

There is so much more to #bouldering in the #Grampians than Hollow Mountain Cave and @davekellermann knows that as well as anyone. Over the years Dave has made first ascents of hundreds of new boulder problems all over the Grampian and especially down in the south. Many are classics, some as hard as v13. This one is The Outsider (v11) near Mt Fox from last year when Dave did the first ascent. See #RockClimbingDownUnder
