Sometimes not everything is clear, but maybe it doesn’t need to be.
I’m honoured to have accepted a position on the ACAV @acav_official committee, having been voted in at the meeting on Saturday night, alongside three other new members, including a new Secretary. On Sunday three committee members resigned, I am very grateful for the work that they have put in and respect their decision to leave. This is a new phase for the ACAV. For me this is just a change of tack in my efforts, a refocusing, and I am looking forward to working a motivated group and seeing the ACAV move forward with some positive initiatives. Cheers!
PS. While I’m at it, I’d like to give a big shout out to those people working on this access issue, some in the spotlight, some not. Some on committees, some not. You know who you are. And special shout out to Mike Tomkins for not giving up and walking away.
