No matter how many more good adventures life has in store for me, it’s nice to have some to look back on. So I guess it’s a bonus when getting a shot is something of an adventure unto itself. This (unpublished) memento is from one of my favourite places, taken two years ago when Chris Coppard (leading) and Garry Phillips (belaying) established a new independent route (The Sorcerer, 27) on the #TotemPole — some 20 years after the first free ascent of the 65m high pillar. #CapeHauy, #TasmanPeninsular, #Tasmania, Australia.
