After some quiet over the summer there is massive coverage about the Grampians “bans” in The Australian newspaper today. It includes a mention on the cover, news story on p3 and a feature in the Inquirer section here (might be pay-walled). Thank you to The Australian for not forgetting this issue!
Some of revelations in these articles are huge. It calls the cultural heritage survey process into question. I tried raise my concerns quietly with Park Victoria’s CEO but it was ignored. Now it appears that the Minister for the Environment has been misled in briefing papers. Parks Victoria’s mishandling of this matter disgusts me.
